10 Years of VISION

What’s the vision? That’s the question we ask at the start of each project. Every successful project starts with a vision. Whether it be a live event, video production, or using an immersive technology like augmented reality, the first step to achieving success is having a clear vision of what success looks like. Knowing your outcome in advance as well as your audience helps to pave the strategic and creative path to get there. This thinking is so ingrained that the word itself became the inspiration behind our company name: VISION Production Group.

2020 marks VISION’s 10 year anniversary. As we reflect on the past decade, we have so much to be thankful for, especially our incredible clients who trust us with their important projects time and time again. It’s amazing what we’ve accomplished together and the impact we are helping to make on our clients’ audiences, our community and the city we love. In looking back, we can’t help but remember how it all started.

“Business owner” is not a title Tracey Shappro ever envisioned for herself. What she did envision is helping her clients succeed in fulfilling their vision for their live events, video needs, and marketing campaigns. But 10 years ago, her role in achieving that for her clients expanded from “Executive Producer” to also include “President, CEO, and Owner” when she started her own production company, with just one employee at that time, the very talented producer, Terry Vantine.

What started as a two-woman operation 10 years ago has grown to an 11-person strong team of talented producers, editors, animators, creatives and digital artists. But VISION didn’t just grow in size, we grew in our service offerings and presentation technologies too. As technology advances and our clients’ communication needs evolve, we continually innovate, adding services such as 3D Projection Mapping, Interactive, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. We are always exploring what’s possible with technology to create experiences that resonate with target audiences and live ON in their hearts and minds, long after the live event, the marketing campaign or the season is over.

To each and every one of our clients, partners, and friends: thank you. We couldn’t have gotten here without you and we truly appreciate all of you so much. We are so grateful to be in a position to continue to craft brilliant stories, produce engaging experiences and deliver emotionally-charged moments that connect brands with audiences, and it’s an honor to work alongside organizations that are helping shape our communities and beyond.

While much has changed over the past ten years, our values have remained the same and are woven into the fabric of our company: integrity, responsibility, appreciation, wonderment, perspective, fearless creativity, operational excellence, connection, and VISIONary Thinking.
