We’re officially one week into RODEOHOUSTON—and we have yet to sink our teeth into a fried Oreo, but we’re willing to bet we’ll become a part of the annual 22 million sold before it’s all over. Instead, we’re boot scootin’ behind the scenes.

For the nation, HLSR is a sporting event. But for Houstonians, the rodeo is historical—it’s the event for which some people prepare for an entire year. It’s family fun on any night of the week, it’s tradition and it’s a part of Houston’s heritage. Since 1932, RODEOHOUSTON has committed more than $430 million to the youth of Texas including 17,000 scholarships for higher education. For Houston, the rodeo is a way of life.

 

Eyes Up, Houston!

The RODEOHOUSTON Super Series kicked off Tuesday with an audience of more than 50,000 loud and proud attendees in NRG Stadium. Fox Sports Southwest continues to champion efforts to reach audiences around the nation on television and live stream.

Since 2015 VISION has worked alongside RODEOHOUSTON as they stepped into the spotlight with a fresh, bold graphics package featuring videos, animations and live stats to elevate the Super Series experience and highlight athletes for audiences tuning in from across the nation. HLSR is one of the world’s largest rodeos and this new look takes a Houston tradition to a Monday Night Football level.

With a new fan experience, RODEOHOUSTON’s legacy will live ON.

  

 

Fox Sports Southwest and Partners

In the next 17 days, VISION’s work will be seen during the RODEOHOUSTON live broadcasts on Fox Sports Southwest keeping audiences updated moment by moment during the next four Super Series, the Semifinals and Championships. Our goal is to make Houston’s imprint on the map even larger to continue connecting the nation around a national treasure supporting Texas youth.
