Puppy Love: VISION’s Passion for Their Pups

While visiting the VISION office, you’ll often see one of our furry friends working alongside the team. It’s no secret that VISION has a passion for our pups and this passion inspires us every day.

Meet the dogs who make our days at the office a little brighter:

  • Ivy & Tracey Shappro

    Ivy & Tracey Shappro

Ivy made her debut in Tracey’s life at just 8 weeks old. Traveling all the way from California in a tiny pink crate surrounded by endless rows of colorless steel cargo containers, this sweet Labradoodle was a vision from first sight! In the 3 years since that day, their lives have been filled with unconditional love and cuddles. As VISION’s Chief Cuteness Officer, Ivy uses her natural gifts—a mix of cuddle strategy, under desk snoozing and her seasoned experience in adorableness—to win the hearts and minds of co-workers, clients and friends.

  • Rusty & Dan Pratt

    Rusty & Dan Pratt

Some people say that our dogs resemble us and when it comes to Dan and Rusty, those people are right. With the same reddish-blonde hair, Rusty fits right in with the Pratt household. Speaking of Rusty’s hair, it is unbelievably soft! Don’t believe us? Ask anyone who has ever pet this dog, and they’ll tell you.  At just a year old, this Lab / Husky mix definitely has the sweetness and playfulness of a puppy. While these puppy attributes make it a little difficult to hold Rusty’s attention for long, Dan has used his skills to train his young pup in a variety of commands like sit, lay down, shake and speak on command. Although the pair both love a day full of roughhousing, walks, swimming and playing fetch, their favorite activity is snuggling on the couch.

  • Stephen & Terry Vantine

    Stephen & Terry Vantine

Behind every great producer, is a great dog. At least that is the case with Terry and Stephen. Over the 6 years that they have been together, Terry’s morning routine consists of making a cup of coffee, then hopping back into bed to snuggle with Stephen and check her email. While, like his mom, Stephen is pretty laid back, he also has this remarkable ability to be lazy and hyper at the same time. A Great Dane / Mastiff mix packed with 120 pounds of sweetness (and one bionic leg), Stephen is the perfect companion. Now if only he could pay his mom back for all of his vet bills with some YouTube residuals in a funny video, that would be great.

  • Maya & Ruth Villatoro

    Maya & Ruth Villatoro

If Ruth was transformed into a dog, her precious pocket Beagle, Maya, would be the result. A born leader and tug-of-war champion at just 2 years old, Maya uses her seasoned barking abilities to command even the most distracted dogs to attention. With the perfect balance of sweetness and curiosity, Maya masters a large range of talents, from feet snuggling to squirrel chasing.

  • Fiona & Paul Castro

    Fiona & Paul Castro

Paul is a master of 3D animation with a true passion for his craft. While we can’t say for sure that his passion for 3D is tied directly to his decision to adopt Fiona, a 3-legged Poodle / Maltese mix, from HSPCA 6 years ago, we like to think it played a part. What Fiona lacks in a leg, she makes up for a million times over in spirit and sheer athletic ability; chasing squirrels with the best of them.

  • Watson & Michelle Pardo

    Watson & Michelle Pardo

One chilly day 3 years ago, Michelle was followed to her door by a sweet Plott Hound puppy. No match for his sad puppy eyes, she welcomed him into her home. Now at more than 3 years old, Watson still uses those sad puppy eyes to melt her heart. Over the years, Watson has made it his job to be Michelle’s cuddling companion and, let’s just say, he’s a workaholic. Even when Michelle is working on her computer at home, this 50-pound dog will slowly inch his way onto her lap.
