VISION Pet Series: Tracey and Ivy

We’re wrapping up our VISION Pet Series with the last, but certainly not the least, installment featuring President and CEO of VISION, Tracey Shappro along with her faithful companion and VISION’s Chief Cuteness Officer, Ivy.

Tracey chose Ivy’s name long before this adorable puppy was brought into the world. When visiting her sister in California, Tracey watched her brother-in-law name a bunch of puppies from their most recent litter from California Labradoodles. One by one, he scooped up a puppy and anointed them with a name, one of which he called “Ivy.” Tracey thought the name was perfect and knew that one day she would have a dog named Ivy. Turns out that Tracey’s Ivy would be the daughter of the very same Ivy that inspired her name.

Since the day Tracey brought Ivy home almost 5 years ago, their lives have been filled with unconditional love and cuddles. With a sweet, energetic, and puppy-like quality, Ivy is always ready to play. At the office, Ivy takes her role as VISION’s Chief Cuteness Officer seriously—utilizing her extreme adorableness to win the hearts and minds of co-workers and clients. When this fluffy bundle of joy isn’t implementing her cuteness strategy at the office, Ivy enjoys exploring the lovely paths of the beautiful Houston Arboretum.
