VISIONary Thinking Day

To take VISION to the next level, we hold recurring mini-retreats for our team called VISIONary Thinking Day.’ It’s our chance to reflect on our own VISION, allowing us to continually focus on reaching our own goals, the same way we solve for clients’. It’s also an opportunity for us to do some big-picture thinking away from the daily grind. 

For our latest retreat, just before kicking off the 4th of July weekend, the VISION team spent the day at Minute Maid Park. We took this time to discuss where we’re going and what we want to achieve—all bundled in a fun forward-focused team building day.

A Collective Vision

Our company’s vision isn’t comprised of just one person’s ideas of what they think VISION should achieve. VISIONary Thinking Day’ is an opportunity for each member of the VISION group to share their goals and incorporate that into a collective vision. By voicing our individual dreams and aspirations, we as a team can work together to make them a reality.

Although ‘VISIONary Thinking Day’ is focused around discussing our aspirations, no company retreat is complete without a team-building exercise. On this particular retreat, the VISION team was surprised with a trip to Houston Escape Room. By getting the team outside of their comfort zone of the office to perform in a high stress (but fun) situation, we were able to uncover where each of our natural talents lie in a team dynamic. 

Vision isn’t a gift that you either have, or you don’t—but a skill that must be fostered. And it’s because of our team-oriented culture, talented staff and creative approach that VISION is so successful. It’s by reserving this time for big-picture thinking that allows us to make each new project an opportunity to challenge the status quo, break a barrier and propel the brands we work with to center focus.
