Holocaust Museum Houston Guardian of the Human Spirit Luncheon

For more than 20 years, Holocaust Museum Houston has built a more human society by promoting responsible individual behavior, cultivating civility and pursuing social justice. Each year, Holocaust Museum Houston has recognized dedicated individuals and organizations who have worked to enhance the lives of others with the Guardian of the Human Spirit Award. These communitarians embody the Museum’s mission by demonstrating a true commitment to service and building a more respectful society for the enrichment of the local community.
The Museum’s 2019 Guardian of the Human Spirit Luncheon honored the Astros Foundation, the official team charity of the Houston Astros. The Astros Foundation seeks to harness the passion of baseball fans to support youth baseball and softball programs, childhood cancer awareness and many other initiatives including helping to reduce homelessness.
As a long-term production partner of Holocaust Museum Houston’s Guardian of the Human Spirit Luncheon, VISION is honored to champion the Museum’s important work and help honor the Astros Foundation for their dedication to making a more humane society.

The Guardian of the Human Spirit Luncheon raises funds to support Holocaust Museum Houston’s ongoing educational programs that promote awareness of the dangers of hatred, prejudice, and apathy using the lessons of the Holocaust.
