Houston Super Bowl Host Committee

Super Bowl 51: We’re On Team Houston.

The Super Bowl is the most watched televised sporting event in the world with an estimated average of 114.4 million viewers and a large economic impact on the host city, bringing in over $600 million in revenues and over two million out-of-town visitors during the festivities. The Houston Super Bowl Host Committee is the centralized planning entity for Super Bowl LI, responsible for all festivities and logistics. The Host Committee acts as the liaison between the NFL, City of Houston, Harris County and the local community. They needed a partner who could showcase Houston as a forward-thinking city at the top of their game —and help the City’s innovative and welcoming spirit live ON before and after kickoff.

  • Immersive Experience Development:

We created a Volunteer Recruitment Center to help the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee build an army of 10,000 local ambassadors to help welcome the world during Super Bowl LI as Superstar Volunteers.  From concept to design and execution, VISION developed 40,000 square foot immersive experience that engaged volunteers the moment they walked in through interactive presentations, digital signage, floor displays, videos, animations and an NFL style Film Room.

  • Live Event Production:

The live volunteer orientation was held in Houston’s Toyota Center, and brought together all 10,000 selected volunteers for the very first time. Designed to inspire the city’s Superstar Volunteers to represent Houston on the world stage, VISION created a three-hour star-studded and content-rich live event to kickoff the Super Bowl 51 experience in Houston with gusto.

  • Video Production:

VISION created a marketing video for the Host Committee that showcased Houston on a national scale and featured a homegrown locally made-to-internationally famous band, The Suffers, who provided the video’s musical score.

We’re proud to have been part of the team bringing the big game home.
