Forging a Resilient Alliance at the Japan-America Society of Houston Virtual Event.
The Japan-America Society of Houston (JASH) is the leading organization that connects Houston’s diverse community, local businesses, and individuals to advance the mutual interest of American and Japanese peoples. Every year, the Japan-America Society of Houston holds its Annual Anniversary Gala, its largest celebration of the Texas-Japan relationship, to raise the funds necessary to bring Japanese culture to Houston in the form of dynamic, thought-provoking experiences and programs. 2020 marked multiple milestones in the U.S.-Japan relationship that have long served as the foundation of JASH’s work. In addition to celebrating JASH’s 52nd anniversary, the 2020 event also commemorated the 160th anniversary of the first Japanese diplomatic mission to the United States as well as the 60th anniversary of the signing of the U.S.-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security. In light of the ongoing pandemic, JASH reached out to VISION to bring our expertise in virtual event production as well as motion graphics and animation into creating a captivating virtual event experience.
Since its founding, JASH has been dedicated to promoting a meaningful and lasting understanding between Japan and America in Houston. Now, the decades-long U.S.-Japan alliance has become synonymous with international peace, security, and prosperity. VISION is proud to bring JASH’s 52nd-anniversary event to the virtual realm—helping Japan-America Society of Houston forge an alliance that lives ON.
